Aitutaki is one of the small Cook Islands in the Pacific Ocean. The land area of this atol is only around 18km². It is surrounded by a barrier reef - and it is the small land masses on the outer edge of the reef which provide the most unspoilt and secluded tropical beaches which are some of the best in the world. Huangshan, literally "Yellow Mountain", is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China.

The area is well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly shaped granite peaks, Huangshan Pine trees, and views of the clouds from above. Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China's major tourist destinations.

I'd come across Huangshan via their depiction in Chinese Paintings, not knowing what I was seeing in the paintings at first made me want to find out where these landscapes are.
